innovative design for real life!

My style is a bit irreverent and unpretentious! Chunky. Modern and asymmetrical. I love color and texture and play around with contrasts in my work. Mixing up materials, sparkly and rough, precious and found, opaque and transparent really excites me and creates a conversation within the piece or the home. I usually prefer materials with a sense of personality to them…a little rough or imperfect is more interesting to me. A sense of humor is always important.

Pagano Designworks is a multi-faceted design studio, encompassing all of my design paths. My many interests stem from childhood, sometime before my fifth grade teacher proclaimed "Jenni will forever be known for her ability to make something out of nothing!" I earned my BFA in design at UCLA and continue to learn new things and experiment with all kinds of design. I have lived in Tucson, Arizona since 1993.

Since before college graduation I have been working professionally in interior design, doing everything from banks to shops and offices to homes. Currently I do mostly residential work but would love to design a funky restaurant. Because I have so many interests, I work comfortably in many styles and budget ranges. I especially enjoy helping you maximize the functionality of your space, through remodels or kitchen design, or simply rearranging the furniture to suit your life better.

Because my attitude towards design is so down to earth, I am ideally suited to help you stage your home to make it sell faster. I understand what makes buyers excited and where to focus your time and money to maximize your equity.

As the home of the International Gem and Mineral Show, Tucson is filled with jewelry designers. My work strays from the beaten path by incorporating especially chunky beads or using recycled felt from sweaters. I have great fun using my creativity in this smaller sized arena. -Jenni Pagano
